Gaspahr runner-up in 3* Grand Prix Outdoor Gelderland

Ridden by his Italian rider Giampiero Garofalo, our stallion Gaspahr (s.Berlin) was able to add another top performance to his track record. At a minimal distance from the winner, they finished second in the Grand Prix of CSI3* Outdoor Gelderland yesterday. The ease with which the stallion delivered this performance, promises a lot for the continuation of this outdoor season.

The three-star competition Outdoor Gelderland, in Lichtenvoorde, attracted a great deal of competitors. The competition was for real in the Grand Prix -which is a qualification for the Olympic Games- and twelve combinations remained clear in the first round at 1.55m level. Ten of them were able to clear the jump-off as well, and Giampiero Garofalo and Gaspahr (Berlin x Tangelo van de Zuuthoeve) were only 7/100th of a second slower than winner Johannes Ehning. With his great canter, scope and power, Gaspahr made great advertisement in Lichtenvoorde.
