Cape Coral RBF Z and A Moonlight Speciale Z in KWPN stallion selection

The rapidly rising sire Cape Coral RBF Z has been selected for the next round of the KWPN stallion approvals. Based on his own performances and impressive offspring, he is in the race for an invitation for a five-day examination at the KWPN Stallion Show. Additionally, the in 2017 born A Moonlight Speciale Z (s.Aganix du Seigneur) has progressed to the next round.
Under the guidance of Pieter Keunen, the Cornet Obolensky son Cape Coral RBF Z has proven himself in international classes up to 1.50m level and appears to be making a significant impact as a sire. With his first crops, Cape Coral RBF Z immediately made a mark in mare inspections, mare tests and young horse competitions. His oldest offspring will turn eight in 2024 and have shown promising results in international competitions, such as La Luna Especiale, La Belle Coral HX, Laguna HX, Largita, Lucifer JDV and Limited Edition HX. From his first crops, Cape Coral RBF Z already produced two KWPN approved stallions: No Mercy and premium stallion Opus One JDV.

The nearly seven-year-old A Moonlight Speciale Z is the newest addition to Stal Hendrix’s stallion stud. This impressively jumping Aganix du Seigneur son is genetically intriguing as the grandson of the Grand Prix and World Cup winner Especiale (s.Voltaire). His dam Double-Special contributes the valuable genes of Chacco-Blue and represents the direct family of 1.50m showjumpers like Especiale Too, High Fly Special, Be Special and Also Especial. He made a good start in the stallion competition in Kronenberg. As part of the second round viewing, he will showcase himself on the 2nd of January in the stallion competition in Groningen, after which he can be invited for the performance test during the KWPN Stallion Show in the beginning of next year. In the upcoming breeding season, he will be made available for breeding for the first year. Stal Hendrix has A Moonlight Speciale Z in co-ownership with his breeder Jack Verstappen.
