Cape Coral RBF Z dominates at the KWPN Stallion Show
2 February 2022
The KWPN Stallion Show got off to an excellent start for Stal Hendrix, as all three presented sons of the upcoming progenitor Cape Coral RBF Z have been selected for the stallion performance test. Two of these are owned by Stal Hendrix, supplemented by an interesting selected son of Cornet Obolensky. The Cape Coral RBF Z son Oska JDV will be awarded as a premium stallion tomorrow.
Just like in the first round viewing, all three sons of Cape Coral RBF Z got the approval from the stallion selection committee today. With this, Oral JDV (ds.Lamm de Fetan) and Oska JDV (ds.Cardento), both bred by Jean Dresen, as well as the Cape Coral RBF Z offspring Obelisk-H (ds.Caretino), bred by Inus Haasken, can prove themselves under saddle in the performance test. Besides both Cape Coral RBF Z sons, Stal Hendrix also owns the Cornet Obolensky son Corvette Z.G. Z (ds.Diamant de Semilly). This stallion which is co-owned by Peter Francken and was purchased at the Limburg Foal Auction in 2019, also received his invitation for the performance test.
Earlier this month, Cape Coral RBF Z already achieved success as his son No Mercy scored high marks in the performance test and earned the KWPN approval. “Cape Coral RBF Z makes great publicity with his offspring and it is rare that everything comes together like this. In 2019 he already made an impression with his first daughters at the mare inspections, last year he left his mark with his first crop in the national young horse championships and now we have these successes at the stallion approvals. I have had always high expectations of Cape Coral RBF Z and I am happy that he is totally living up to that.”
Tomorrow Oska JDV can return to Ermelo for the presentation of the premium stallions. Out of a total of 28 selected stallions, this son of Cape Coral RBF Z was the only premium stallion today.
