After a successful career at the highest level of sport, multiple Grand Prix winner Gaspahr will now dedicate himself entirely to breeding. Starting this season, the stallion from Stal Hendrix is fully available to breeders. His oldest offspring, now nine years old, are proving their ability to follow in his sportive footsteps, making this a perfect moment for a new chapter in Gaspahr’s career.

With his exceptional pedigree, impressive performance record up to international 1.60m level, and standout offspring, Gaspahr is a true all-round talent. “We’ve thoroughly enjoyed his sporting career and have great confidence in Gaspahr’s contribution as a breeding stallion,” says Paul Hendrix.

Highlights
The light-footed and scopey Berlin son competed at international Grand Prix level under Giampiero Garofalo. In 2021, the duo debuted with a top-ten finish in the Rolex Grand Prix of Rome, shortly after winning the Grand Prix of Opglabbeek. Their career highlights also include victories in the 1.50m-class of CSI3* Eindhoven and the Grand Prix of CSI2* Kronenberg. They secured second place in the 1.55m-level Grand Prix of Lichtenvoorde and third places in the 1.55m-level Grand Prixs of Ommen and Eindhoven. Representing Italy, Gaspahr proved his worth in several Nations Cup competitions, including the final in Barcelona. “His oldest offspring are now nine years old and are performing well at 1.45m/1.50m-level, such as Laska JDV, Marjorie, Lewis PK, and Luduela. He passes on his light-footedness, rideability, and scope to his progeny. Moreover, Gaspahr comes from an outstanding damline, which has also produced the Olympic showjumper Sterrehof’s Dante, who recently won the World Cup of Amsterdam. This distinguishes him as a breeding stallion. I hope and expect he will cover a good number of mares in the coming year. When paired with mares that have blood, Gaspahr almost guarantees success,” Paul Hendrix concludes.

Premium Stallion
Born in 2011, Gaspahr is approved by the KWPN studbook and is available with fresh semen through HX Stallions in Kessel. Among his breeding achievements, Gaspahr has already sired his first KWPN-approved son, the athletic premium stallion Prophet (ds.Voltaire) of Denis Lynch.
