Tim van den Oetelaar and the HX bred horse Mont Rose (by Entertainer) achieved a remarkable result today. They won the KWPN Championship for seven-year-old showjumpers in Ermelo. Pieter Keunen provided strong competition with the Gaspahr offspring Marjorie, finishing second. Additionally, the stallion A Moonlight Speciale Z made a fantastic debut at this level, securing sixth place.

In the final, the seven-year-old showjumpers faced a challenging 1.45m course. Four out of the 25 horses remained completely clear, including Mont Rose HX (Entertainer x Diamant de Semilly) and Marjorie (Gaspahr x Julio Mariner xx), who impressively repeated that result in the jump-off. With only one time penalty, the KWPN-approved stallion A Moonlight Speciale Z (Aganix du Seigneur x Chacco-Blue) jumped to sixth place under Pieter Keunen with great ease. Both riders from Stal Hendrix were pleased with the results. Tim commented: “I certainly did not expect this, but I really fought for it with Mont Rose. She is a mare with a fantastic attitude and I have been riding her since she was four, so we know each other well. I am very grateful to the Hendrix family for this excellent horse and all the opportunities and support they provide,” said the rider. Both Mont Rose HX and Marjorie have now qualified for the World Championships in Lanaken.
