11 November 2024

Several riders and horses from Stal Hendrix delivered impressive performances over the past days at the CSI4* Jumping Indoor Maastricht. On Friday evening, Oda Charlotte Lyngvaer secured a stunning home victory with Carabella vd Neyen Z.

Jumping Indoor Maastricht is a special home show for Stal Hendrix. The event at the MECC combines top-level sport with the warm hospitality of Limburg, and besides that, Timothy Hendrix is a member of the board. All these factors make it a competition where everyone strives to achieve their best results.

Strong performances
In Friday evening’s 1.50m class, Oda Charlotte Lyngvaer claimed the top result with the Carrera VDL offspring Carabella vd Neyen Z, with whom she had recently finished at an impressive sixth place in the 5*-Grand Prix of Oslo. They proved that they could shine not only for Norwegian audiences but also for Dutch crowds in Maastricht. “This is unbelievable! Carabella is the first horse I’ve ridden at this level, and I never imagined I could win here,” Oda expressed. On the final day, she also delivered a clear round with the stallion Farzack des Abbayes (s.Montender) to secure seventh place in the 1.40m class. Notable achievements in the CSI1* included Jop Keunen, who earned podium finishes with Namando HX (s.Ultimo van ter Moude) and Nikita (s.Comme Il Faut), and Stephanie Whitworth, who was placed with the Entertainer offspring Liza Minelli HX and Mon Amour HX.

Homebred
Simultaneously with Jumping Indoor Maastricht, the five-star event in Verona took place. Under Jody Van Massenhove, the Stal Hendrix-bred Vingino mare Konita HX showcased her talent, finishing fourth in the 1.45m on the final day. They had also placed at this level earlier in the week, demonstrating their consistent quality.
