A Moonlight Speciale, future star with performance genes

A Moonlight Speciale Z combines first-class performance genes, and he proves with his achievements under Pieter Keunen that such a pedigree rarely disappoints. This athletic son of Aganix du Seigneur already caught the attention of breeders and top riders in the stallion competition. This resulted in his approval by the KWPN, and last summer, he effortlessly debuted on 1.40/1.45m-level at the age of seven.

As a showjumper, A Moonlight Speciale Z seems to have everything it takes to make a difference. He jumps with great commitment, athletic scope and a high degree of carefulness. Paul Hendrix: “He combines the power and scope of his well-producing sire Aganix du Seigneur with the quality for which his damline has been known for generations.” On his dam’s side, this stallion is a grandson of the well-known top level mare Especiale, with whom Eric van der Vleuten won Grand Prixs and World Cup qualifiers. Through various valuable daughters, Especiale is the granddam of 1.50/1.55m-level showjumpers such as Especiale Too, High Fly Special, Be Special and Also Especial. The KWPN-approved stallion El Primero, very successful in Hunter Derbys in the United States, also leads back to Especiale in his damline. On top of that, Chacco-Blue adds his genes in the second generation.

Sire Aganix du Seigneur proves his value in breeding with offspring like Agana van het Gerendal Z, Alanix Hero Z, Attoucha, Agadance van ’t Gelutt and Lambada Shake AG. With A Moonlight Speciale Z, Aganix du Seigneur presents a very promising son, who covered his first mares in 2024.
