Farzack des Abbayes makes a promising start in sport and breeding
Under Oda Charlotte Lyngvaer the outstanding Farzack des Abbayes is achieving an impressive track record, which includes many clear rounds and placings. In 2019, this French and Zangersheide approved stallion won the championship title for four-year-olds at the national championships in Fontainebleau. He has continued to stand out ever since. As a eight-year-old, he made a successful debut in the ranking classes on 1.45m level.
Besides a very successful sports career, also the first offspring of this Montender son meet high expectations. Paul Hendrix: “We are looking forward to see Farzack’s further developments as a showjumper this year. His first foals are very promising and have been sold for good prices in the auctions. His eldest offspring turns three year old in 2024 and they show great qualities in free jumping. Farzack des Abbayes has a bright future ahead in both sport and breeding, that’s for sure!”
Farzack des Abbayes is sired by Montender, who was unprecedentedly successful for years. Under Marco Kutscher he won double bronze at the Olympics and double gold at the European Championshio. Montender made progress in breeding thanks to outliers such as Tokyo du Soleil, Monte Bellini and Messenger. Dam Palme du Landey already foaled the international 1.45m showjumper Urtimack des Abbayes and the 1.40m level performer Valmack des Abbayes. A large number of international showjumpers originate from this French damline, including Grand Prix showjumper Viva de Malica.
