Newmarket VM, developing into an outstanding showjumper

In the spring of 2021, Newmarket VM was approved by the KWPN with an impressive total of 83.5 points. This top talent is co-owned by Team Nijhof. Paul Hendrix: “We are sure that Newmarket VM can really become a stakeholder. He combines an incredible model with a lot of stallion expression, a top pedigree and a way of jumping that you rarely see. On top of that, his first foals born in 2022 seem to have all that we can wish for: good conformation, development and movements.”

Under Kars Bonhof, Newmarket VM made a strong impression in the stallion competition for the second consecutive winter. With his good jumping technique, athletic scope, carefulness, quick reflexes and good attitude, he is one of the eyecatchers of his year. “Newmarket VM is heading towards a great future and we are happy that the breeders showed their trust in this future star. Together with Team Nijhof, we try to manage him as good as possible for sport and breeding.”

His sire Chacoon Blue is a strong inheriting son of Chacco-Blue and he has performed at international 1.50m level with Philip Rüping. His oldest offspring are standing out in de young horse and stallion competitions. Newmarket VM’s dam Nouvelle Star Z has already produced several showjumpers and brings in the valuable genes of top class progenitors Numero Uno and Carthago. From this direct line already comes the international sport and breeding stallion Zambesi.
