Pagani of the Paddocks, a stunning Catoki son out of Clinton’s half-sister
In the fall of 2023, the promising Pagani of the Paddocks was approved for the KWPN studbook. This promising and well-bred stallion stands out with his beautiful conformation, willingness to work and excellent jumping qualities.
Genetically, this four-year-old stallion is particularly interesting. His sire Catoki, performed at the highest level with Philipp Weishaupt, winning the World Cup competition in Bordeaux and the 5* Grand Prix in Vigo, among other achievements. In breeding, Catoki proves his great value as the sire of standouts like Ermitage Kalone, Catch Me If You Can, Luigi d’Eclipse and Contanga. Pagani of the Paddocks was bred from the mare Lewinsky out of Holstein damline 8829, noted as the half-sister of none other than the Olympic stallion Clinton. Under Dirk Demeersman, this grey stallion celebrated many sportive highlights, and in breeding, he is influential through his son Cornet Obolensky and others. Granddam Urte can also be found in the second generation behind international sport stallions such as Contact van de Heffinck (s.Concept), with whom Toni Hassmann competed at 1.60m level, Catalani (s.Caretino) and Boris van het Kluizebos (s.Heartbreaker).
With four times an 8 for the jumping elements in the KWPN performance test, Pagani of the Paddocks earned his breeding license. His willingness to work, rideability and use of the body show his great potential. He will be carefully trained as a showjumper and cover his first mares in 2024.
