Stellar performance for Oda in Oslo’s 5* Grand Prix
21 October 2024
It was a week filled with sporting highlights, but the standout moment for the Stal Hendrix team was Oda Charlotte Lyngvaer’s sixth-place finish with Carabella in the 5* Grand Prix of Oslo. Stal Hendrix horses and riders also delivered strong performances at the Sunshine Tour and CSI Peelbergen.
For Oda Charlotte Lyngvaer, a childhood dream came true with her participation in the five-star competition in Oslo, where she had often attended as a spectator. “It was incredible to compete at the CSI5* in Oslo. My horses Kina V and Milancinthe D gained valuable experience, and achieving my first 5*-Grand Prix placing with a clear round on Carabella is truly a dream come true. To do it in my home country, with an amazing crowd, made it even more special. A big thank you to everyone who made this possible,” she said. Oda’s top performance came aboard the ten-year-old Carrera VDL mare Carabella vd Neyen Z, with whom she has formed a partnership for nearly a year.
HX Stallions
Further south, at the Sunshine Tour in Vejer de la Frontera, stallions Lambrusco and Lambada Shake AG, ridden by Giampiero Garofalo, delivered impressive performances. Lambada Shake AG secured multiple placings in 1.45m classes last week. The Italian rider for Stal Hendrix capped off the week with a strong eighth-place finish in the 1.50m Grand Prix aboard Hero (s.Diamant de Semilly). The day before, Yves Willems, who has been riding for Stal Hendrix in Baarlo for some time, won the 1* Grand Prix at CSI Peelbergen with Clinton’s Gold H, the eight-year-old son of Clinton’s Heart. These results bode well for the future!
